PrayLock ("we", "our", or "the app") is built with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data the app handles, how it is used, and what your choices are.

1. Summary

• We do not sell, share, or monetize your data.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• Your location is processed only on your device — it never leaves your iPhone.
• The only data transmitted off-device is what's needed to process in-app purchases.

2. Data We Collect

Purchase History & Subscription Identifier

When you make an in-app purchase or subscribe to PrayLock Pro, our payment processor RevenueCat assigns your device an anonymous user identifier and records your purchase status. This is used solely to:

• Validate your subscription is active
• Restore purchases across your Apple devices
• Manage subscription renewals and refunds

This identifier is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifying information from us.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Location: PrayLock requests location access to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. All calculations happen on your device. Your coordinates are never transmitted to us or any third party.
• Personal information: We do not ask for your name, email, age, gender, or contact details.
• Usage analytics: We do not track which screens you view, which features you use, or how often you open the app.
• Prayer logs & streaks: All prayer history, streak data, and learning progress is stored only on your device.
• Advertising identifiers: We do not use IDFA, fingerprinting, or any cross-app tracking.

4. Third Parties

Apple

In-app purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. Apple's handling of your payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat provides subscription management infrastructure. They process the anonymous identifier described in Section 2. Their handling of this data is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. Children's Privacy

PrayLock is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we don't collect personal data, the app complies with COPPA by design.

6. Your Rights

Since we don't store any personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete and no data to export. To remove all PrayLock data from your device:

• Delete the app from your iPhone
• Manage subscriptions via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

7. Changes to This Policy

If we materially change how data is handled, we will update this page and increase the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
